The Beefarming merit badge was one of the original 57 merit badges issued by the Boy Scouts of America in 1911. It was renamed to Bee Keeping in 1915.

Beefarming requirements

Have a practical knowledge of swarming, hiving, hives and general apiculture, including a knowledge of the use of artificial combs. Describe different kinds of honey and tell from what sources gathered.
