Scout Shop (sometimes called a Scout Store or Trading Post) refers to a retail store operated by a local council that sells items for use in the Scouting programs of the Boy Scouts of America. Items for sale include uniforms and other apparel, insignia (patches, badges, awards), camping gear, event supplies (pinewood derby, court of honor, jamboree, parties, etc.), crafts (kits, supplies, tools, accessories), gifts, and publications (handbooks, guides, pamphlets, certificates). Local Scout Shops may also have items unique to the local council. Scout Shops are sometimes called Scout Stores or Trading Posts, especially those located at camps and other locations where they open seasonally.

Most items offered at a Scout Shop are also available for online order through ScoutShop.org. Local councils may operate their own online Scout Shop/Trading Post.

Local brick-and-mortar retail Scout Shops can be found by using the store locator: https://www.scoutshop.org/storelocator.

Scout Shops across the nation are supplied with items through the BSA Supply Group located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
