Hello, just a scouting mother, not a guru here...Noticed other scouters frustrated in locating newspaper articles. So here's what I know (maybe someone can effectively write it up on the Crime Prevention page)- Resource for requirement 2. Many local newspapers now have an on-line version and include an archives section. You can search that section for recent article on crime and it's prevention, and then print them out for your notebook. If you are new to your area, and unfamiliar with local newspapers or have troubling pulling up a newspaper using a search engine, try the https://familysearch.org/learn FamilySearch wiki. Within the wiki, search for your locality, and when arriving on the locality check the Table of Contents for links to newspapers. JanaStokes 12:29, June 26, 2012 (EDT)
