Assistant Crew Leader

The Assistant Crew Leader is an elected assistant of the sub-group leader in a Sea Scout ship.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Seaman Rank.
• Desire to be a leader in the ship.

Reports to

• Boatswain

Responsibilities

• Carry out the duties assigned by the Crew Leader.
• Be the acting Crew Leader in the absence of the Crew Leader.

Equivalents

The Assistant Crew Leader is an assistant to a sub-group youth leader in its unit. Other assistant sub-group youth leaders are:
