The Beefarming merit badge was one of the original 57 merit badges issued by the Boy Scouts of America in 1911.
| Beefarming is a discontinued merit badge. Beefarming Merit Badge was one of the original merit badges in 1911. It was discontinued in 1914, being renamed Bee Keeping in 1915. |
Merit badge requirements
- 1. Have a practical knowledge of swarming, hiving, hives and general apiculture, including a knowledge of the use of artificial combs.
- 2. Describe different kinds of honey and tell from what sources gathered.
