Crime Prevention Award for Cub ScoutsPhase IComplete activities from the program book in which your son is working, as indicated below, and discuss how they relate to crime prevention in your family. First Grade: Tiger Cub Scouts
Second Grade: Wolf Cub Scout Book
Third Grade: The Bear Cub Scout Book
Fourth - Fifth Grade: Webelos Scout Book
Phase IIParticipate with your family, den, pack, or friends in a crime prevention project, either an original project or a project of a neighborhood- or community-based organization. (Before beginning the project, have the unit leader approve your choice.) NOTE: This award can be earned at each grade level. Crime Prevention Award for Boy Scouts and Varsity ScoutsPhase ICarry out the activities identified in this Phase I section. Individual

Phase IIParticipate with your family, patrol, crew, team, troop, or friends in a crime prevention project, either an original project or a project of a neighborhood- or community-based organization. (Before beginning the project, have the unit leader approve your choice.) Crime Prevention Award for VenturersPhase IChoose and complete an activity from the suggested list of individual and group activities (see Crime Prevention Guidelines for Venturers and Explorers), or develop one that may be more appropriate for your family of community. Phase IIParticipate with your crew, ship, or post in a crime prevention project. (See the suggestions under Crime Prevention Guidelines for Venturers and Explorers). If your crew, ship, or post does not do a project, you may choose to participate in a group activity with your family, friends, neighborhood, or community.
