The Cub Scout Promise is a pledge to help our community, our world, and ourselves. It reads as follows:

Retirement
In October 2012, BSA announced plans to retire the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack. As their replacement, Cub Scouts will adopt the current Scout Oath and Scout Law.
