Qualifications

  1. Is an older Scout, Venturer, or Sea Scout.
  2. Selected by the senior patrol leader and Scoutmaster in a Scout troop, by the Crew Advisor in a Venturing crew, or by the Skipper of a Sea Scouting ship at the request of the Cubmaster.
  3. Approved by the Cubmaster and pack committee for recommendation to the den leader.
  4. Registered as a youth member of a troop, crew, or ship.

The Cub Scout den chief’s responsibilities are to:
