Wikify

To format content within a MediaWiki installation (running on a LAN, WAN, or WWW server), such as:

  • text (with linkable headings and sub-headings),
  • hyperlinks (internal and/or external),
  • tables,
  • images,
  • et al

....using MediaWiki markup (a.k.a., Wiki markup, wikitext, wiki text), as opposed to "plain text" or "HTML".

Noun: Wikification
Verb: Wikifying; wikified
Note: Sometimes shortened to "wfy" (especially, when used in an Edit summary).
