  • Checklists like the Home Safety Checklist
  • Resources like the Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat
  • Internet links are at the end of each workbook.
Most worksheets include links to free online video lessons. Check out: Camping, First Aid, Swimming, etc. If a requirement asks for a diagram you will even find graph paper is included!

February 8, 1910Boy Scouts of America founded in Washington, D.C., by W. D. Boyce.

Scout Sunday – The Boy Scouts of America designates the Sunday that falls (on or) preceding February 8 as Scout Sunday. However, a chartered organization or local religious organization may choose to celebrate on another day. E.g., the Presbyterian Church and United Methodist Church designate Scout Sunday as the second Sunday in February.

Scout Sabbath – Is celebrated on the Saturday after February 8th.

Scout week – Is celebrated from Scout Sunday through the Scout Sabbath.

February 22, 1857 – Birth of Lord Robert Stephen Baden-Powell, "BP", the founder of Scouting.

February 22, 1889 – Birth of Olave Baden-Powell, wife of "BP", World Chief Guide.
