  1. 1.0 1.1 Editor's Note: The Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award and Outdoor Ethics Action Award for Cub Scouts and Cub Scouting leaders were retired in June 2016.
  2. Editor's note: Despite the wording in the 2018 Boy Scout Requirements book for this requirement to complete an online youth course, the online awareness course at LNT.org is not specifically just for youth. It is for youth and adults. The requirement as shown on scouting.org omits the word youth.
