There is a new 2010 printing of the Astronomy Merit Badge pamphlet in which the requirements have changed. The color cover is nearly identical to the 2008 printing, with the exception that the meteorite on the right side of the cover has been changed to a new image. The new printing has only 9 requirements instead of 10. The old requirement 6, observing a planet at weekly intervals, is not in the new requirements. There are substantial changes to other requirements as well. The inside back cover still indicates that the last revision was 2004.
