Two references for 6b, "The Myth of Global Warming" and "Myths and Facts about the Environment: Acid Rain," do not accurately reflect scientific consensus on these issues. The latter comes directly from a politician's talking points, which are hardly a source for accurate scientific information. Neither of these references acknowledges the overwhelming number of observations that suggest that global warming and acid rain are indeed significant problems that are at least partly attributable to human activity.
The inclusion of these references and irresponsible and highly insulting to people, like myself, who do science for a living.
In place of "The Myth of Global Warming," I recommend the following website: http://globalwarming.com/. This provides a more balanced look at the problem and the political climate (no pun intended) around it.
In place of "Myths and Facts about the Environment: Acid Rain," I recommend the following website: http://www.eoearth.org/article/Acid_rain?topic=49506. Unlike the original reference, this one has some actual scientific content.
