  • Guide for the Welding Merit Badge

    Hobby vs Trade

It looks like the Welding merit badge page was created using a 'hobby' merit badge template. It says 'hobby' in the box and at the bottom of the page. I think welding is more properly a 'trade' merit badge. Jay 19:04, January 29, 2012 (EST)

Yes; I immediately thought the same thing when I first saw the new page. (Note: I didn't create the Welding MB page... Banaticus did.) At any rate, either Banaticus knows something we don't, or maybe this is merit badge is categorized by national as a trade. I will do some checking and report back here. Of course, if anybody finds out something official (or, at least, reliable), please post the details here. Thanks, —RWSmith (Bureaucrat), 09:32, January 30, 2012 (EST)
