Function

{{Expand}} lets you quickly label an article as one needing to be expanded.

{{Expand|width|leftmargin}} is the format for the optional variables 1 and 2. The default values are width = 80% and leftmargin=10%. Expand also adds the article to Category:Articles that need to be expanded. Articles tagged with this template are automatically added to Category:Articles that need to be expanded.

Examples

If you use {{Expand}} without any parameters
{{Expand}}

which gives:

Please help improve this article by expanding it.
Further information might be found on the talk page.


To automatically set the width to the minimum width needed
{{Expand|auto}}

which gives:

Please help improve this article by expanding it.
Further information might be found on the talk page.


To change the left margin to 5% and use auto width
{{Expand|auto|5%}}

which gives:

One last example of left margin of 30px and width of 60%
