Function

{{Needs sources}} lets you quickly label an article as one needing to be expanded.

{{Needs sources|width|leftmargin}} is the format for the optional variables 1 and 2. The default values are width = 80% and leftmargin=10%.


Examples

If you use {{Needs sources}} without any parameters
{{Needs sources}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources.

To automatically set the width to the minimum width needed
{{Needs sources|auto}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources.

To change the left margin to 5% and use auto width
{{Needs sources|auto|5%}}

which gives:
