{{Needs sources}} lets you quickly label an article as one needing to be expanded.

{{Needs sources|width|leftmargin}} is the format for the optional variables 1 and 2. The default values are width = 80% and leftmargin=10%.

Examples

If you use {{Needs sources}} without any parameters

{{Needs sources}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources. Please help add sources for this article. Unverifiable links and articles may be removed.

To automatically set the width to the minimum width needed

{{Needs sources|auto}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources. Please help add sources for this article. Unverifiable links and articles may be removed.

To change the left margin to 5% and use auto width

{{Needs sources|auto|5%}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources. Please help add sources for this article. Unverifiable links and articles may be removed.

One last example of left margin of 30px and width of 60%

{{Needs sources|60%|30px}}

which gives:

This article appears to not provide sufficient references to reliable sources. Please help add sources for this article. Unverifiable links and articles may be removed.
