I'm just finishing a project to write a [http://www.google.com/webmasters/gadgets/|Google Gadget] that presents an index of all 122 merit badges. The index is easily added to troop or community websites. Each entry in the index contains a link to the appropriate merit badge page and graphic from this site and may be customized with community and/or troop information (see the screenshot below). | I work with scouts in Worthington, Ohio and maintain a scout website at [http://worthingtonscouts.org]. Hi,
I work with scouts in Worthington, Ohio and maintain a scout website at [1]. I've been trying to organize information about local scouting resources and combine it with some of the major online scouting resources like meritbadge.org. I'm just finishing a project to write a Gadget that presents an index of all 122 merit badges. The index is easily added to troop or community websites. Each entry in the index contains a link to the appropriate merit badge page and graphic from this site and may be customized with community and/or troop information (see the screenshot below).
I would like to publish this index on the Google Gadget website, but would like feedback about whether this is an allowed and appropriate use of meritbadge.org resources.
A live version of the gadget can be viewed at the WorthingtonScouts.org website at [2]
