I have four sons and started in scouts in September 2000 with my oldest son who just became a Tiger Cub. Soon after, I became a volunteer in our pack as it only made sense being that I'd be around for awhile. To date, I've been a pack committee chair for seven years, troop committee member, troop committee chair and help on the district committee. I've got about 200 nights of scout camping between two packs and two troops (city built new schools).

I never had a chance to be a scout as a youth. I asked my parents multiple times. As a result, my family joined Indian Scouts for a year or two.
