Hey there. I am a 16 year old Eagle Scout from the North Florida Council in Riverbend District. I've been active in Scouts all my life, starting in Cub Scouts as a Wolf and eventually earning the Arrow of Light. In April of 2007 I became my troop's 32nd Eagle Scout.

I am particularly active in the Order of the Arrow as a Brotherhood member in Echockotee 200 with my sights set on becoming Lodge Secretary next year. In the summer of 2008 I had a fantastic experience as a member of Northern Tier crew OAWV-728 as well as being able to do the sailing adventure at Sea Base. This summer I plan on working at Woodruff Scout Reservation as an aquatics or motorboating staff member.

I have attended the 2005 National Jamboree and the 2007 World Jamboree at Hylands Park, England. I highly encourage every Scout to visit the next World Jamboree in Sweden (2011). If you cannot attend, try to work as staff; being in a foreign country for over 5 weeks with fellow Scouts from all over the world is an experience you don't want to miss out on.

In college I plan to remain active in Scouts, becoming an aquatics merit badge counselor and awards instructor. I'm debating on whether or not to join a Venturing Crew; it'll be a fantastic experience, but I'm not sure if I could balance out the workload.

My ultimate youth Scouting goal is to earn three silver palms. I am currently one Scoutmaster's Conference and Board of Review away from earning my second gold palm.

My favorite merit badges are Water Sports, Reptile and Amphibian Study, Lifesaving, Geology, and Shotgun Shooting. The awards I'm most proud of are my 2007 WSJ Friendship Award, OAWV Award/125-miler Award, and BSA Lifeguard.

The merit badge I'm currently working on is Coin Collecting. The special award I'm currently working on is the Spanish Interpreter Strip.
