I also serve, among other things, with the BSA, volunteer at local Family History Centers, and teach SCUBA (now that seems random here). In family history, I regularly teach genealogy several places locally, at three Family History Fairs, and at a private school. I have participated in most of the beta programs of many products associated with family history. I manage my own website and write my own software, both include family history. Even though I was the Assistant Booth Director for the Electricity Merit Badge at the National Scout Jamborees in both 2001 & 2005, I helped quite a bit with the Genealogy Merit Badge in 2005 . . . the first time it was offered at the Jamboree. | + | I am a software architect/engineer/programmer/manager/geek ([http://www.thefranchisetrader.com BS CS with MBA]). Here is my family name in Russian (from the back of a photo): Лэрман. According to current boundaries, I am 3/4 Ukrainian (Russia, Austria, Hungary) Jew and 1/4 Czech Republic (Bohemia, Czechoslovakia) Catholic. All of my known ancestors immigrated to the USA between 1872 and 1912. I have quite a few more details including my genealogy on my website. | Here is my family name in Russian (from the back of a photo): Лэрман. I am a software architect/engineer/programmer/manager/geek (BS CS with MBA).
