MeritBadge.org

Hello Ronin718,

After looking up a few things on the meritbadge web site i have noticed that all of the wiki links are broken (what they are linked to does not exist). It seems that at one time there was a directory on the meritbadge.org server called /wiki and does not exist anymore.

When clicking any wiki link on the page i get this page:

This is probably due to the recent overhaul of this web site.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

I'm not sure if you have access to the server or not, but this error can very easily be fixed by using a PHP page redirect.

How to fix this:

  • Make a new folder on the web server's main directory and name it "wiki" (no quotes)
  • Open Notepad
  • Copy the following code and paste into your open notepad file:
<?php
header( http://meritbadge.org/ ) ;
?>
  • Save this file as "index.php" (no quotes) into your "wiki" folder you just made
  • Double check that it DID save as a .php file and not a .txt file.

This will redirect all users who try to visit the old wiki link to the new link. (This means you wont need to change all of your old links)

PS - if you need another wiki admin for THIS Webpage, i'd be interested. I manage 2 Web servers currently and a MMORPG game server as well =]
