To be considered fully trained
A Varsity Scout leader is entitled to wear the Trained leader emblem when he or she has completed specific training courses:
Team Coach and Assistant Coaches
- Youth Protection Training
- Varsity Leader Fast Start
- This Is Scouting (formerly New Leader Essentials)
- Varsity Coach Leader Specific Training
- Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
Team Committee Chair, Committee Members and Program Advisers
- Youth Protection Training (for direct-contact leaders)
- Varsity Leader Fast Start
- This Is Scouting (formerly New Leader Essentials)
- Troop (Team) Committee Challenge
Supplemental and advanced training
